A look into the history and genetics of this unique breed
Almost every Sheepdog experience we have done over the years the feed-back has been the same, they have really enjoyed meeting and working the dogs but they were fascinated by the history and genetics talk.
We are putting on an entertaining yet informative talk on the Collie’s history, its genetics and the problems that may arise if these are not fully understood.
Many people come to us with problem dogs and say ‘I wish I’d known more about genetics beforehand, as I would have been more prepared’. Many more people just find the diversity of this wonderful breed fascinating.
Questions and interaction will be welcomed throughout, however there will be a question time at the end for people to raise queries about their own dog if they wish.
Places are £15 The talk will be held here at Mainline on 7th December @ 11.00am and places will be limited.
